Essa novidade é para nós que costumamos cruzar a cidade com o Notebook debaixo do braço, trabalhando ou estudando. O Grupo de Pesquisa em Cibercidade do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação e Cultura Contemporâneas da Facom/UFba , está desenvolvendo um projeto de mapeamento de Hotspots em Salvador. O endereço do blog é o seguinte: http://blog.ufba.br/wifisalvador/parcitipe/. O GPC é o primeiro grupo desse gênero no Brasil e é credenciado pelo CNPq. A nós, cabe o trabalho de acessar o blog, fazer um cadastro e passar a indicar novos pontos de acesso sem fio pela cidade. Salvador ainda está na rabeira neste quesito, mas já está crescendo bastante o número de soteropolitanos que se desloca pela cidade a trabalho e precisa utilizar o Notebook juntamente com a Internet.
Sem dúvida alguma, vale a pena participar do projeto. O benefício será de todos.
